Rolfing evolutionary regeneration with Rolfer™ Hiroyoshi "Hiro" Tahata.

Hiroyoshi Tahata is a certified advanced Rolfer® and the movement faculty member of the Rolf Institute. In 2013, he presented a 3-day seminar, which was a break-through experience for Rolfing faculty and practitioners, transforming the parameters of how structure is perceived. In 1999, he began exploring the movement of Yield and has cultivated and deepened his understanding of this primal action over the past 15 years. The approach he has developed is transformative and broadens a practitioner’s field of perception and informed touch which should be available for people who might not be helpful to use intense pressure. Some case studies are shown in the journal of the Rolf Institute®.
He will teach the class involved in core sessions on 10 series of Rolfing® with Carol Agneessens in CA.

Before taking the Rolfing® training, he worked as a research biochemist for 9 years where he studied megakaryocyte potentiating activity, furthering his knowledge of the cellular matrix and random fluctuation.

During his Unit 3 class of Rolfing training in Boulder in 1998, Jonathan Martine, the assistant instructor, talked to Hiro about the possibility of a Rolfing training in Japan – the first ever in Asia. It was the beginnings for him to take an interest in the official Rolfing training in Japan.

Hiro and his colleagues have been visited Fukushima to provide the movement workshop and private sessions since 2012.

Hiro has been practicing Rolfing in Tokyo, Japan since 1998.

Description:

The Art of Yield, has been developed in response to the need for a way to provide structural integration to people who are unable to respond to classical myofascial techniques. The Art of Yield demonstrates that effective structural transformation can be achieved through gentle and brief but precisely timed touch. Inherent to the effectiveness of this approach is the resonant field between practitioner and client.

The series of the class will introduce the principle of Yield—the primary developmental movement of life in the gravity field—and demonstrate its application to a variety of manual therapies and somatic disciplines. The yield practitioner’s touch invites profound relaxation in the whole body-mind system, facilitating decompression of joints and core space expansion.

Each functional goal of Basic 10 series will be achieved by the Art of Yield.

On the Introduction, the fundamental concept of Yield will be introduced. The class in the Part 1 will cover the first hour to the 3rd hr of the 10 series. Part 2 is about the CORE sessions, 4th hr through the 7th hr. Followed by these parts, the final Part 3 class will focus “integration ” .with various useful position strategy.

The student is recommended to take the class sequentially from the Introduction to Part 1 to 3, basically.
